Vocational Nurse Diploma

96% 5-Year Average NCLEX Pass Rate 1

The National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX - PN) is the exam required for all nursing students to pass in order to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the United States. Stanbridge College has an excellent cumulative NCLEX pass rate of 96% from program inception in 2007 to present.

Created by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN), the NCLEX tests are designed to be one of the final milestones before becoming a licensed nurse. Consequently, the questions focus on your ability to make decisions in various patient care scenarios under critical conditions. The NCLEX test requires that you understand the basic principles of nursing and apply this to different elements of patient safety management.

Stanbridge College strives to ensure that each nursing student is fully prepared to take the NCLEX-PN examination. Terms 1, 2 and 3 of the Diploma in Vocational Nursing program includes cumulative reviews and exit exams. Term 4 includes a comprehensive practice test, in addition to NCLEX licensure preparation with multiple standardized diagnostic exams. Each nursing student also receives learning materials with 3000 NCLEX examination practice questions theirs to keep. After graduation, Stanbridge College continues exam preparation with online mentorship and subject-specific reviews and assessments while graduates wait for board authorization to take the test.
