During the holiday season, Stanbridge College REACH amplified its efforts to help the homeless in Orange County. Staff came together to raise funds to purchase new sleeping bags, shoes and socks for over 250 homeless people in Costa Mesa. In December, Stanbridge College Information Technology students prepared 28 PC computers for needy children in Costa Mesa. Over 15 students worked to set up each computer for the children to use. This December, Stanbridge College students, staff and faculty rolled up their sleeves and donated the greatest gift of all: blood. 25 blood donors donated 23 units of blood. According to the Red Cross, this was 121% of the goal they projected to the area hospitals. Each unit of blood goes to helping save one live. [...]
