    What is Reach?

REACH - Beyond The Classroom is a Stanbridge College service learning initiative that takes concepts learned in class and applies them to real world scenarios. These efforts benefit members of our community and serve the greater good. REACH provides fundraising and volunteer opportunities in which students, faculty, staff and alumni can participate.

Partner With Us

Stanbridge College recognizes the vital role that educational institutions play in the community. As a vital pillar in the REACH Beyond the Classroom Service Learning and Civic Engagement Initiative, Stanbridge College partners with local and global charities and non-profits to provide its students with innovative community service opportunities. Our students have applied their knowledge and dedication to fundraising and volunteering efforts such as:

  • Providing free flu shots to local families.
  • Working with Mariner’s Outreach and Lighthouse Ministries to serve meals to Orange County homeless.
  • Building homes with Habitat for Humanity.
  • Sending care packages and providing meals to veterans both far from home and homeless.
  • Raising funds for Project Hope School Foundation, a non-profit primary school in Orange County, and engaging children through campus tours and workshops.
  • Donating pet food and supplies to local animal shelters.
  • Fundraising for international charities such as Doctors without Borders, Convoy of Hope and Mercy Corps.

We are eager to work with non-profits and charitable organizations to create new ways for students to learn and serve in the community. Begin the conversation by telling us about your organization and its needs.
