Habitat for Humanity of Orange County
http://www.habitatoc.org

Stanbridge College students, faculty and staff volunteer a Saturday every six months to assist in the building of a home in South Orange County for a local family. The volunteers serve along with other members of the Orange County community as well as the future homeowners. Once the house is built and complete, volunteers are invited to welcome the family to their new home.

“In the United Sates alone, 95 million people, one third of the nation, have housing problems including payments too large a percentage of their income, overcrowding, poor quality shelter and homelessness. Throughout the world, people live in inadequate housing, and Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to providing decent, affordable homes for those in need.” — Habitat for Humanity website

Habitat for Humanity of Orange County is dedicated to ending substandard housing and building strong communities in Orange County. They partner with local businesses, community organizations, faith communities, cities and volunteers to build simple decent homes which are sold to qualified families for closing costs, 1% down payment, and a long-term mortgage. One Saturday every six months, the Stanbridge community comes together to help build a home with Habitat for Humanity of Orange County.
