Admissions

General Admission Requirements

  • Minimum Education Requirement
    • Except for the advanced level courses, prior knowledge of the subject matter is not required. Those with no or minimum level of knowledge in the computing field will be placed in the introductory courses.
  • High School Requirement
    • It is required that students hold a high school diploma or equivalent—such as GED or evaluated foreign diploma. A minimum high school GPA of 2.0 is required for college admission. A copy of the high-school diploma or GED documentation must be provided and it will be retained in student’s file.
  • Language Requirement
    • All courses are taught in English. English competency is required to insure maximum results in training and certification. Stanbridge College does not provide courses in ESL (English as a Second Language).
  • Foreign Students
    • Stanbridge College does not offer student VISA services.
  • Assessment Testing - not applicable to LVN students
    The Wonderlic Scholastic Level Examination (SLE) is administered by an Admissions Representative to establish a measure of academic capability. Prospective students must meet the minimum score on the Wonderlic SLE for admission to a training program. (Different programs have different minimum qualifying scores.)
